COVID 19 update: Cancellations due to government public health measures. If you cancel your booking because UK government public health measures mean you are not allowed to travel or you are prevented from using your booking, you may choose to: 1) Transfer your booking to a later date, all bookings made can be moved, subject to availability to any date in the next 2 years if COVID 19 impacts your travel. 2)Or, obtain a refund of the amount already paid by you for the booking. Check in is between 3pm and 9pm. Please call us if you’re going to be late.

Check Out

Check out is before 10am on the day of departure.

Pets

We do not allow any pets on site. We do realise this may be disappointing – however, there are good reasons. The main one being to protect the wildlife that both lives in and frequents our garden. We have pine martens coming in most evenings and there is also an active badger sett on site.

Fires & BBQs

At the time of opening, we don’t allow any fires or BBQ’s due to the fire risk. The area tends to get dry with gorse and grass at risk.

Noise

We ask you to observe good manners towards the residents in the neighbouring lodge and house nearby. Please be considerate to others and keep the noise levels to a minimum to respect this peaceful site. Please note that any noise will negatively impact your opportunity to see wildlife that comes in. This site is particularly peaceful with our nearest neighbours at least a mile in any direction. The wildlife noises on the river are wonderful to listen to on a still quiet night.

Smoking & Vaping

There is a strict no smoking /no vaping/no E-cigarettes policy within the lodge.
