Find your Highland lodge getaway at Ceol Mor by a choice of ways depending on where you are coming from and your personal preferences. If you have any questions about how to find us, please get in contact and we’ll be happy to help.

The three words location for us is trek.unafraid.frog. The grid reference is 57.9499009980334, -4.438448923536673.

Car

We are on the A837 between Bonar Bridge and Rosehall. Heading to the west, we are one mile after the Shin Hydro plant on the left where you can see our sign by our entrance. If you are travelling east from the Rosehall direction, we are about 6 miles from Rosehall on the right. If you get to the junction with the A836, you’ve gone too far.

Please do not use the post code to find us as it will take you several miles away. Consequently, we recommend using our Google Maps business location or use grid reference 57.9499009980334, -4.438448923536673. Also, you may be able to find Ceol Mor Highland Lodges in your sat nav.

Plane

The nearest Airport is Inverness International that is close to Nairn. It usually takes 1 hour, 15 minutes to get to us from the airport. We would recommend that you get a taxi from there if you are not driving. Or, you may choose to have a premium collection – for example with KS Travel.

Train

There are several options for getting here by train. There are nearby stations in Lairg and Invershin. Again, we would recommend a taxi from these locations and can supply local taxi details.

If coming from London there are sleeper trains coming into Inverness as well as day services. The day train takes just over 8 hours from Kings Cross and is an easy comfortable service run by LNER. In addition to the relaxed way of travelling, you’ll get to see amazing scenery in the central highlands.

Inverness station is in the centre of town. You can change there or get a taxi if you’re not picking up a hire car in Inverness. Or you may choose to have a premium collection – for example with KS Travel.

Bicycle

Finally, we are pleased to say that cyclists are very welcome!

We are on the A837 between Bonar Bridge and Rosehall. Follow the same directions as if arriving at your Highland lodge getaway by car. If coming through Lairg, there are other options. For example, there is a lovely quiet single track road that runs by the side of the River Shin. You can enjoy the scenery on the way – for example the Falls of Shin. In addition to the wonderful views, there is also a place to get some food at the falls. As result of low traffic, it is not usually open during the winter season. We would be happy to help with any advice before your travel. Finally, please don’t hesitate to ask with any questions.
