Try a Highland experience in house at Ceol Mor. As well as the many outdoor adventures you can enjoy here, we also run some experiences in the main house. Many activities in the Highlands are outdoors and consequently adverse weather may occasionally prevent play. This isn’t the case with these. Also, if you have children, we would be happy to look after them by doing a couple of fabulous half day experiences.
Our favourite Highland experience in house at Ceol Mor is afternoon tea in our sun room. There are 180 degree panoramic views across the floodplain as well as potentially seeing birds of prey soar in the sky. We can cater for up to 4 people to keep this experience quite personal. Yvonne is a fabulous baker so this is a must. We also offer this experience to the guests of our local partners so please make sure you book in advance (at least 48 hours) so that we can reserve a slot for you.
Yvonne has spent many years teaching children to cook at primary and secondary school level with her subject always being over subscribed as a result of her amazing reputation. For children 7 years and over, she offers the chance to learn some key skills in the kitchen with the children cooking – their lunch for example. This could be a pizza and a cake – furthermore, anything not eaten can be taken away to share later.
Since a child, cars have been a passion of Alan’s which has taken form in a collection of slot cars. Besides the cars, there is a permanent Scalextric track linked up to a computer control system. This simulates fuel use as well as tracks your race position and lap times.
This experience is for 1-4 people (4 people can race at once) – check out this YouTube video. Next, if there’s just a single racer, they’ll have a race with me. Finally, with lane changing and a real pit stop, this is an exciting experience for up to 3 hours. Please note that this is for 8 years and upwards only as well as being offered on weekends only.
